Marquette Consulting, Inc. is a Ventura-based consulting firm specializing in land use planning and permitting and environmental consulting services. Alan Nelsen, the Owner and President of Marquette has been providing professional land use and environmental consulting services since 1996. The philosophy of Marquette is to form a team-based approach with the client to provide services that exceed their expectations. This is achieved with honesty, clear communication, creative solutions, attention to detail, and treating each project as if it were our own.
The Marquette name…
The Marquette name is a nod to the Chicago-based dairy that Alan’s grandfather and great- grandfather owned and operated through the 1940’s. Not only being an inspiration for a new business startup, the name Marquette is of French origin and translates to “landowner” – the clientele Marquette Consulting, Inc. is dedicated to serving.
